Hi Pastor Ng,
Thanks for putting up so much resources on your website. I have just downloaded some of
your articles on worship and song writing. I found out about your website when a friend
introduced it to me. Your songs have blessed me, especially the song 'Everytime I pray'.
It's such a simple yet powerful and meaningful song.
Yes, i am in the worship ministry. I serve as a keyboardist and a worship leader. Of late,
i've been having a strong desire to write songs for God and to sing these songs in church,
hoping that these songs can minister and be an inspiration to both the church and our
musicians. But, i really don't know where to start :) I also know about the song writing
workshops that you conducted, but unfortunately due to circumstances, I have missed it.
Please pray for me that i may also write songs that can be a blessing to others. God
bless, Pastor!

Hi Pastor Ng
A friend of ours sent us your website. I'm very impressed with the quality of the tape
recording. I'm a Malaysian married to a New Zealander. I've been singing this song
"Everytime I pray" for years and even taught it to my husband, but had no idea
that you were the song writer. Great song. Be encouraged!
Might pick a copy up when we are in KL for Christmas next year. We are off to China for
tentmaking next June.
Bless ya, Sheila |

Dear Brother Wah Lok,
I am a believer in Guangzhou, China. We love to sing the song "Every Time I
Pray" in our church. In fact I have led our choir to sing this song several times
here, and we also plan to sing it on Dec 23 this year for the Christmas special music
worship. We have a bilingual Bible study here in Shamian Christ church in Guangzhou every
Sunday at 11:00, and we sing the songs in both Chinese and English.
Now I would like to answer your question about how I knew your website. This October I
went to Yunnan and joined some brothers and sisters from America to visit some villages,
orphanage and schools, and on the way I was asked to sing a Chinese song, and I chose the
sing this "Every Time I Pray" in both Chinese and English. They were impressed
greatly by this song, and one of them went back to America and found something related to
this song, and forwarded your website to me. I thought this song was written in Taiwan,
and now learned it is written in Malaysia.
God bless you brother! When we were singing this song we really felt Holy Spirit's
presence and we are blessed by Him. |

FGT - where else
Dear Wah Lok
As proposed, perhaps you should display comments, esp. from oversea, on this web page.
Other ideas:
| 1. |
Snap shots of our
church, which will tie back to your testimony re: FGT. I think it is a real miracle &
powerful testimony. If you have photos of early FGT, better still, since people can
actually see how far the church has come. |
| 2. |
Don't know whether you
agree with this, but what about clips of our own worship service live (maybe after we have
moved in)? |
| 3. |
What about a
"Salvation Page" just in case non-christians wander to your web site ? |
| 4. |
I am thinking of sending
your web address to Paul Baloche's web page ( & maybe get him to have a look - what do
u think ?) |

your song Everytime I pray. I do have one question for you, When I did Listened to it I
feel in Love with the words and would love to incoperate it into our churches worship,
would you be able to provide me with the music for our pianist? I know you may not be able
to do this but if you could I would play it a lot.

Hello Pastor Ng,
My name is Lloyd Chia and I'm from Singapore. I came accross your website while I was
looking for some information on music and theology, because of a paper that I'm writing
for publication. I am currently a Masters student reading sociology in the University
here.
I am actually a vocalist of a Christian band called "Parousia", our style is
broadly classified as rock. We are currently in the process of producing an album that we
have been working on for the past 2 years. Also, we are looking forward to a mission trip
to Hong Kong in January 2002, in conjunction with the Hong Kong Youth For Christ (YFC).
If there are any future opportunities of ministry through music in Malaysia, do let us
know. Our band has been functioning as a ministry for the past 8 years, and we have played
at churches, youth events, as well as at secular organised events.
You can check out our webpage at http://listen.to/parousia

I greet you in the name of Jesus . Thank you for the email you have sent to me . Firstly ,
congratulations for the release of your worship album I believe it will bless many
Christians and Churches in Malaysia and beyond.
Let me introduce myself . I'm Sebastian from KK, Sabah. I'm currently studying in KL and
attending one of the local churches here. I'm from Basel Christian Church established also
in Sabah . I know how to play piano and guitar but I'm not in the worship ministry yet
back in my hometown . Somehow , I have the vision to involve myself in it once I'm back to
my own church. Nevertheless, this matter has never stops me from serving the Lord through
music. I serve in Christian Fellowship as well as my cell by becoming a guitarist Last
year, I found myself to have the gift of writing songs. So far, up until today, I wrote a
few songs which I have presented in my cell as well as Christian Fellowship ( and some
have not yet being released ). However, my songwriting capability is still at infancy
level. Recently, I saw two of your articles which have helped me to understand more about
songwriting. I really appreciated it. Hopefully, I could write more high-quality songs in
the future. One day I would bring these songs back to my hometown and bless my church over
there. Maybe, by God's will, I would also release my own album one day. Lastly, thank you
for the website you have established. I'm looking forward to your future reply.
May God bless you and your family and your church. |

Dear Pastor Ng,

The website address was provided at the end of the email - and before I knew it - I was

good! I myself am in a worship team - and having learnt the piano for years - I am
starting to put it to some good use as I help in praise and worship in the Alpha ministry
at my church here in Sydney. Your album will definitely be one of the features for the
team in praise, worship and prayer. Thank you, and may the Lord bless you and the work you

Dear Pastor Ng
A friend of mine forwarded your testimony and I was very encouraged by the lyrics of the
song. Just recently, the Lord has put it into my heart to stand in the gap for the company
my husband is working in. When we look at the situation it seems impossible that God can
rescue a ship that's so far sunk, but as the word of God says, we can move mountains when
we pray and what satan intends for evil, God can turn to good. So I'm really praying that
God will remove the atmosphere of oppression and intimidation which is choking the
organisation and causing it to crumble. Yes we are weak and helpless but His grace is
sufficient for us! I'm going to choose to believe that He will save the jobs of the people
in the company.
Unfortunately, I was not able to hear the song - my computer indicated that a program was
missing although I'm not sure what it is as I'm able to listen to the radio. However, I've
printed out the lyrics to the song and it's pasted up on the board next to my desk on the
office to remind me constantly that the Lord will move as we pray. Thank you for your
testimony and your song. May it be a blessing to many many more people. |

I'm just as curious as to now your newsletter found its way into my mailbox. It was
through the newsletter that I got to know about your website. I must say that it arrived
just in time for me to understand the story behind the song that you wrote - Every Time I

together. I'm very happy to find out that Malaysian Christian music is beginning to make
some impact in the churches without our nation not necessary in the sense of 'Malaysia

context. Just a curious question - where is the your seminary located at? Thanks for your

Dear Pas Wah Lok,
I am an American living in China. I first heard "Every time I pray" in Chinese
at a friend's wedding here, and was really touched by it. Honestly, it sounded very Asian
to me, so I wondered if it was originally Chinese or had been translated. I looked up
"Every Time I Pray" on Google.com for the specific purpose of finding the song's
origin, and your website was the first that came up in the list. It is indeed an
incredibly anointed song -- I really believe it is a song for the hour. I am very
encouraged, because I have been believing that a fresh sound of worship would be coming
from Asia, and am encouraged to see it is already happening.
I can give you a little feedback on your website. I was a website designer for a number of
years. It's a beautiful website. The only area of caution I have is the area where you
sell your CD's is not secure. To do that you need to have those pages on a "secure
server". Otherwise unscupulous hacks can get people's credit card numbers that they
enter on your site.
I have already sent a link to your website to just about all my friends. And if you ever
get up on a secure server, I will also suggest purchasing your CD as well. I've only
listened to one other song so far -- Flow Holy Spirit -- which I found very anointed as
well.
Blessings to you.

Dear Wah Lok,
My name is John Koh. I am the Celebration director of Faith Community Baptist Church in
Singapore. By God's grace, I am also writing songs for the Lord's glory. Two of my songs
were also in the Taiwan Chinese Praise & Worship Album which "Every Time I
Prayed" was also recorded there.
My purpose of writing is to network with song writers from Asia. I heard God's call to
write in 1995. I sense His spirit calling out to Asia :"What is Asia heartbeat of
worship? I have heard the Europeans, the Americans, the Africans and even the Australians
heart of worship. Where is the Asian?
With that, I am burden to bring Asian's voice before the throne of the Almighty. The
gospel has already gone almost one complete circle around the globe. We are the last
league before it returns to the middle east again.
I want to promote Asian who worships the God who created heaven and earth to stand in
unity with one voice and one heartbeat in worship. I am unsure what God will do through us
who writes prayer and praises to Him but I am willing to obey His every calling. I am
currently in contact with those who are writing in Singapore and hope to bring it across
the cause way too.
I am very bless by your songs and is looking forward to any opportunity to network
together for future ministry in the Lord.

Have problems downloading the rest of the songs there. When I downloaded the song
"Everytime I pray", the song ministered to me in that it encouraged me to
continue to pray even though there is no reply in sight. Both me and my wife are
Christians and we found out that our son is autistic. We have prayed for healing, cried
when there is no reply and felt that He is so far away. In the attempts to care for our
son, He no longer become part of the team. Your song reminds us of his past faithfulness

My brother Jack Yeo was a civil engineer prior to his full time calling in Sydney. He has

every where from Syndney to Jarkarta to Malaysia. His team is coming down to Penang on Oct
4 - 7, 2001 to start a Worship Conference 2001. Tom Inglis of South Africa is the worshop
leader. (Pastor Andrew Chong of Bethel Church in Penang has details of the venue -
admission free) Hope we can meet you there and it is my hope that Jack can export your
songs to churches in Sydney, Australia and they too will sing your songs.
My colleague, Chek Yang told me you were in her church Faith Covenant Tabernacle, PJ
(under Pastor Joshua) last week to minister. She was inspired by your songs and awed by an
ex-CEO of a company who count the cost to follow God all the way.
Pastor Nicholas Wu of Christian Life Centre, PJ also has a vision to develop local

songwriters.

Thankyou for constantly updating me via email. I was introduced to your website by a

listened to ' Everytime I Pray ' and found it especially encouraging as most of our cell

the hope that this song will encourage them to persevere and assure them that God is
listening and He shall be acting for us.
I attend Christ Lutheran Church in Setapak and our our church is led by a pastor who truly
believes that prayer is the only way to draw us closer to God. He reminds us constantly
that there are no shortcuts but through prayer, we will find God's hand working in our

Hi Pastor Ng,
I'm carole and have been listening to your beautiful song "Everytime I Pray"
everyday before I start my work. I'm a Malaysian working in S'pore and have just been here
for 2 months now. Honestly, I'm quite homesick away from church, family and friends. So
your music has been a great inspiration for me as I would hum to your song quite often.
Thanks. I would get your CD when I'm in KL tomorrow.
Also, I would like to encourage the work you're doing and I will pray that God
will continue to bless you with wisdom and creativity. |

Hi Ps Ng,
Actually my boss, Rev John Koh (TOUCH Music, FCBC) recommended this site to us in the
office. We've actually been singing the song "Every Time I Pray" for quite a
while already, but in Mandarin. And most of the time I sing it, I cried, because the words
are so simple and yet meaningful, so childlike and yet so profound. The imagery of a child
tugging at the hand of the father always come to mind when I sing it, the innocence of it.
We've even sung this during some of our English services and prayer meetings, in Mandarin!
So when John told us that this song was originally written in English, I was kinda
surprise. I mean, I've become so accustomed to this song being a Chinese song that It was
had for me to imagine singing it in English, know what I mean? But when I downloaded the
song and listened to it, boy was I impressed! The style that the song was recorded in was
so refreshing! The anointing IS THERE! This song is indeed a song of faith, of knowing
that when we ask, the Father will give. I've been blessed!
Thanks!

Praise God. He is as wonderful as He was and still is and will be wonderful forever more.
I tried listening to the song "Everytime I Pray" but the song always kept
breaking up. Until yesterday... It went so smoothly. It is a beautiful song. And it served
as a reminder to me... to get back on my knees to stir the heart of my God.
Thank you. I am not in the worship ministry but aren't we all called to praise and worship
the Lord! : - )
God Bless

Dear Pastor Ng,
Actually I first knew about your website from an email my friend Pek Yiing Ming sent me.
In it was the address for the website. Not only that, my church, Penang Christian Centre,
was introduced to the songs "Every time I pray" and " Approved in
everyway" by Pastor Eric Tan who came to do a seminar with us a couple of weeks ago.
Since then, we loved the song "Every time I pray" so much that we have begun
singing it in our church services and prayer meetings. Especially now that we are praying
for the tragedy in America, this song is somehow so right to be sung where it talks about
God doing the things that we cannot do with our own hands. This song has also been a great
encouragement to me personally and I have downloaded the two songs from the website. I
hope that we can sing more of your songs in the near future. |

Hi Ps Wah Lok,
The email that you have sent out regarding your album & your website are widely spread
throughout Malaysia now. I've got your email thru Prayercell Network & Soo Hui Ling
from The School of Acts. I'm in their mailing list... well, i find that mostly people got
to know you thru email.
Personally i find that yr website is quite informative especially to those who want to
know more about yr album. I find the articles are good too. Though i'm not a musician or a
worship leader but i'm very encouraged & glad to know about the album! I believe that
this will stir many hearts to write songs given by the Lord. Though they may not put their
songs in album but if they start to sing the songs given by the Lord, it will bless many
people. I pray that more & more malaysians will rise up & dare to make the
difference!
May the Lord richly bless you & your family!

We have downloaded the two songs Every Time I Pray and Flow Holy Spirit, and found them
spiritually inspiring. We would like to download the lyrics and chords too so that we can
learn to play the songs and teach our church as well. But it seems that we require a
username and password to download the lyrics and chords from your homepage. Could you tell
us how we can get this username and password ?
Thanks & God bless,

Hi Pastor Ng,
Your website is recommended by one of the sisters in our church who knows your elder
brother(May, correct me if I understand your wrong.) You did a great job for your site. We
do know your song,"Every Time I Pray" sometimes ago(the Mandarin version). We
sing it a lot in our fellowship. First time when I was introduced to the song, I was moved
by the lyrics and how well the words go along with the melody. Isn't God amazing to use
such song beyond your locality and bless so many others.
I do share with your vision in music ministry. Together with few brothers and sisters, we
started to lead worship in the youth fellowship about 6 years ago. Considering the
conservative background of our church, things were a bit difficult at first but over the
years, God changed things and it is wonderful to see how we're blessed richly each time we
come to his presence.
Do you have any plan to come to HK?

Dear Wah Lok and Bessie
It's such a joy to find out that my church people have been singing your song,
"Everytime I pray" in Putonghua version for quite some time. I don't realise it
until the leader of my church's music worship group, Frank Cheng (who has just sent a mail
to you), told me. Though you might not remember me, as the former U-mate of Kam Kiew and
Wah Fook, I seem to know you quite well. I am encouraged to know that you have chosen to
go into full-time service for our Lord. May your service bring blessings to more people in
the years to come.

Hello Pastor Wah Lok,
I heard your two songs from your web site. I am especially impressed with the drumming in
"Flow Holy Spirit".
I am a drummer myself, playing in churches since 1985, so about 16 years.
I'd like to know who played drums on that song? Jerry Felix? :) (Sounds like him)
Also are you planning to make future albums also?

We are really blessed by your songs especially "Everytime I pray". Actually we
heard of this song more than 5 years ago while in Kuching but now we have moved to KL to
work here. We have recently taught your song to our cell group and sang it during
meetings. We have
also sent your website to our church friends and introduce it to them. I believe one of
them is Kwee Choo who has already logged in to your website.
Actually both my wife and myself are involved in Worship Ministry in New Life Restoration
Centre, Kepong. We felt that this is the song for the season. We believe that God will
fully bless your ministry and increase the impact of your album on many people and
churches. |

Dear Pastor Wah Lok,
I'm blessed by your songs especially Everytime I Pray. I'm thinking of introducing it in
our church. I used to be the Worship Leader of my former church. I'm now serving as pastor
of a primarily Filipino-American church here in New York called Brooklyn Evangelical
Church. I myself have written some songs and I would like to develop myself further in
this field that's why I'm exploring your web site. The problem is, I get a pop-up screen
asking for a User-ID and Password to download the articles. Is there a way around it?
God bless you and yours,

some awareness to their communities and churches of the Christian community in Malaysia.
Great job and I believe there'll be more to come. |

I am thrilled that we have a locally produced CD in every sense of the word, right from
the original compositions to the final production of it. I will defintely purchase the CD
the next I visit Salvation Book Store. The song "Every time I pray" has often
been sung at my church and it has always been a great source of encouragement and
refreshing to us. Thank you very much for making the downloading of lyrics, chords and
articles available and in such a reader-friendly manner. I lead in worship in church and
also play the guitar (not fantastic but delighted to serve God in the music ministry) and
to get lyrics with chords is great. Will also share the articles with the rest of the
music team in shurch. Thanks a lot and may the Lord richly bless you, your family and the
ministry He has given you. |
