Wah Loke,
Greetings from Christchurch NEW ZEALAND.I recently was given a
copy of Every time i pray as well as Patrick leong's cd For your
love.Truly i was blessed by the cd and i must say there are only
very few singers that can capture the heart of the song, and to me
i think Patrick leong Bernard George and Juwito Suwito are
malaysian top class singers.
Keep writing and keep using these singers to bring out God's heart
thru the songs you write.
You truly are making a diffrence in malaysdian christian music.

Dear Pastor Ng,
Greetings. I've just learnt about your ministry and your song "Everytime
I Pray" on Sermon Central website, under the title "Intercessor".
I love the song since I knew that song in the past, but only the
Chinese version. Just wondering if I could get the English version
of the song?

Dear Pastor Wah Lok,
Thank you for your two CDs. I found them very interesting
listening.
Reading the testimonies behind the songs touched my heart and when
I downloaded One voice and one heart from the website, I really
enjoyed it.
Keep up your good work and that vision to create a market for good
Christian music rather than lose the Christian artistes to the
secular market.

I'm so blessed and encouraged to know that local talents are as
good, if not better, than foreign ones.
It is certainly long overdue for our local praise and worship
leaders to step forward boldly to help raise the standard and
quality of worship experience, cutting across denominations, in
this nation with local flavours.
Indeed, personally, I enjoy a refreshing touch from the Lord every
time I listen to the songs written by your goodself and other
artistes as well.
May the good Lord continue to bless your endeavours, his anointing
continues to be upon you, and godly inspirations continue to fill
your creative mind.
Thank you.

Hello Wah Lok
I am quite amazed at the resources on your website. You are quite
a resource and interesting guy. I am not sure if you would
remember me, but I was actually able to see one of your seminars
while I was visiting friends and ministering in Malaysia a couple
weeks ago. It was at Diakonia Christian Church in Rawang.
Your heart for the sharing of God's love, power, and salvation
through music has been a large part of my conversation with my
fiancee. She is the more musical of the two of us and your words
on what worship and praise is for you has been quite
inspirational. It is a message that really puts us in our place;
that we too could do much more and take a more active role in
worshipping and sharing God. I would like to encourage you as you
continue to share your passion for Jesus with others through
music. Thank you and God bless you.

Great greetings in Jesus name.
Since i visited your webside for few months ago i raised my standard of
music and worship in my live and in the church. Yesterday, on Sunday, it was my second Sunday to put the church in fire of
music and worship, in the subject of "the importance of the ministry of
worship". Now my brother i ask a permission from to allow me to print out this all
teachings and make a book and also i will edit there and there. worship is
my lifestyle but through your teachings i am now in fire. The Chief Purpose of Man is to Worship. And we are created to worship.
I am going to use your teachings all the rest my life, because the anointing
is upon you and your teachings. I believe you will allow me.

Hi Wah Lok and Bessie,
My name is Khin Meng and I'm from Singapore. I'm serving as a worship leader and a pianist in Kay Poh Road Baptist Church. I chanced upon your website through the Songs of Praise site. Just want to let you know that I have been truly blessed by your music. Your songs really helped me to focus on the heart of worship - Christ Himself.
Besides serving in church, I'm also helping out with worship in one of our office lunchtime fellowship. Today, I led the congregation in the song 'I Can Feel Your Heart', and it really brought everyone to worship our Lord with all their hearts! Praise God for His presence!
Do take care, and may the Lord bless your church and Tung Ling Seminary!

Hi Mr Ng,
I'm a Malaysian studying in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. I came across you website while doing a search for 'Malaysian songwriters' on Yahoo!. I must admit I'm surprised to find such an effort being made in Malaysia to expand gospel music, and this is quite encouraging (I don't know much about the Christian scene at home). I write some music in my spare time, though I haven't written any 'gospel' or praise and worship music. I mostly write more personal songs, with theological slants. Your words on the state of affairs at home have prompted me to give some thought to attempting praise and worship music. I help lead worship at the young adult ministry at my church, so that gives me a little something to go on. If you're free, take a look at
my website: http://www.angelfire.com/folk/bmused.
God bless your efforts. I hope to hear a homegrown song at a worship service here, soon! |

Brother Wah Lok
I have enjoyed you songs very much.
The reason I am writing:
I am a church planter and also travel to churches who are seeking revival and learning how to truly worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Because so many of the places my wife and I go to teach and plant churches, we find it hard to have musicians that know the new praise and worship; we have begun to use MIDI format in our Roland keyboard. I was wondering if you have MIDI files for the songs you have written? If you do I would very much like to be able to get them.
Let me know.
Be blessed and we are praying with you,

I think that was real great on what you stated on needing to be in the pressence of God when you are doing your music........My Pastor has anointed me to be in the singing ministries and I Haven't the slighest where to begin, I have that desire to sing and play the piano and accoustin guitar, I just dont have no one to teach me, Although, I've been practicing voice lessons for about a year now our church doesn't have know music director yet, Or church is growing and we are in the middle of revival right now And We are praying for more help. I live on a reservation about 30 miles from my church and so I'm also praying for someone to come and help start a work on our reservation to help and bring the gospel to my Indian people. If you would please help and join me and prayer for my chrurch my prayer requests 1. more help 2. Music director and choir leader for youth, children, and adults 3. someone to feel the call to come and help start a work on our reservation God knows who it is. We had a evanglist come to our church this past weekend and he does feel that burden and call for my reservation, ,just help pray that he will answer that call. I now im suppose to talk about your devotion but i feel God wanted me to share this burden with you. Also, I might join in your 40 day prayer and fast if you can help pray for me and my reservation during this fast. Oh yea, I need to know the will of God for my life. if you please can help keep these in prayer with me. thank you so much, I beleive God for these all.

Hi Wah Lok,
You might not remember me, but I was in your class in last year's Tung
Ling bibile school. Thanks for your input and sharing, actually out of that
class came the first 'complete' song I've ever written.... Anyway, I was recently inspired to write another song during one of my
personal devotion with our Lord. I've more or less completed the song. I'm
thinking of doing some arrangement to the song and burning it into a
CD...I'm not looking for very good quality recording....just good enough for
others to listen to it. But I do not know how to go about doing it....more
of the technical aspect . Is there any free software in the internet or
market that has softwares that can allow me to do personal recording?
what do I need to set up a very low budget setup for recording own song
at home? is it possible......or with your experience, what would be your
advice.........your input would be very much apprciated
regards

Hello,
thanks a lot. I like your vision. Just to share, I lead worship on a number of occasion and had released 2 albums in my
local dialect- the Lun Bawang and is about to release an English album. Many songs had come to me, in my heart
and at times, in my mouth. I am not a musician and i can only play the quitar. Now I have more than thirty songs
in English and some in BM. I wait for the song to come sometimes. The president of MAPLINK once prayed a
prophetic prayer saying that God will really bless me and I believe that this would be through those songs of praise
and worship. What is your advice?

dear Pastor Wah Lok,
there's a Christian Women's Convention (CWC) coming up on 21 June at Life
Chapel & I've been requested to worship lead as well as perfom a solo item.
now, I've been listening to Shining Stars & you have several beautiful &
meaningful songs therein. in particular, I was wondering if I could perhaps obtain the minus one
tracks* for the following songs? 1) I Can Feel Your Heart (3:46) 2) Make My Heart Your Resting Place (5:58)
3) Shining Stars (5:22) It will be great if they come with background vocals as well (where
applicable). FYI - The Organising Committee of CWC, will also need to approve the Song
concerned prior to my using it at the said function. Anyhow, should it be used, I shall certainly give Tabernacle Music the
credit & perhaps, even help you sell more CDS! (if the organiser allows,
lah).
Hope to hear a favourable response from you.

Pastor Ng,
My name is Diana Wee from Canaan Lutheran Church Kajang. Before I
go on to the main point, I just wana tell u dat I've been really
blessed by ur songs, esp "For Everytime I Pray". That
song has indeed been a great source of encouragement.:) The main
reason of me writing to u is to actually get ur advise on how to
market CDs. 4 ur information, I'm producing a Christian album
entitled "Your Love Remains" containing 16 songs which
will be released in mid June. My producer is Dr. Minni Ang from
Musicmall Conservatoire. I'm still rather green in this area.
That's why i thought dat it's best to seek for some wiews and
ideas from those who are more experienced. The 1st person who came
to my mind was you. If you don't mind, I hope dat u can
share with me how did you go about with the marketting of your
CDs. Did you market them in a personal manner as in through
friends or did you actually get a company to do a whole album
promotion 4 u?
Thanks a lot. God bless.

Does the church have Mandarin Service? Time and venue? If it is convenient,
I will bring my sister who lives in Setapak to attend your church service.
A one last question. Is your church a Pentacost/Charismatic type of church.
I am attending a church which is under AOG.

Hi Pastor Wah Lok,
Just felt of a need to write to you after being so much blessed by your album "Every Time I Pray".
The very first song ministered to me was "silenced by your love". Every sentence seems to be speaking so lively to me. Having been going through so much of "valleys and hills" the past few months, the song reminded me again of God's love and faithfulness and how I am silence by His love again and again each time going through tough time. Tears was flowing from my eyes as I listen to the song from the start to the end. His love is just overwhelming me again and again.
"Approved in every way" is another wonderful song. I am so thankful that today, I am living my life for Him. Looking back, being called into full time after uni. and having to let go many other things is worth it. Otherwise you wouldn't have let go things and obey His calling isn't it. Of course, your sacrifices is more than me!
Many other songs like "Every time I pray", "Flow Holy Spirit", "We're here by grace", etc has touch me in the different areas of my life. I cannot understand why, the songs just speak to me so lively even though this is only the first time I hear it. Many thanks to you.
Do consider coming again to Gateway, perhaps this year as we would definately miss your teaching (I enjoyed it very much) and of course your jokes!
One thing for sure is that your coming to teach at Gateway has brought "new breath" to our music team even bro. Eddie himself.
Thank you once again.
Blessings,

I thank God for your impressive work on your www.tabernaclemusic.net with many encouraging details of music and worship ministry throughout Malaysia. Lately, I've completed recording an album of songs that I composed over some years. And I'd like to send a CD to you for review and recommending it the Body of Christ. Please let me know on how to post it to you together with a recommendation letter from my pastor. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks. God bless. |

Hi,
Thanks for your mail. Yes, the songs are good, Well, yeah, I do have problems downloading sometimes, but it
isn't your fault. It's just that my internet connection is a lil slow.. (I'm still using a dial-up
connection.. I don'r have isdn or broadband). Actually the most common problem I encounter is that the
downloading stops before the whole file is completely downloaded, (probably due to the crappy internet
connection), which is why I have to keep coming back to download the same file. I really hope that I'm not
wasting your site's bandwidth. Well, basically i'm just looking for Christian mp3s
just so that I can play them on my pc.. nothing really specific.. as long as it is good.. =)
And yes, your website has indeed be a blessing.. the songs are wonderful! Keep up the good work, and keep
on shining for the Lord!
God bless...
In Christ's love,
Meilin. |

Dear Wah Lok,
My name is Mariana Lopez and my husband and I are currently serving as
worship leaders in Canning Garden Baptist Church in Ipoh. The worship
team in our church is currently in the process of drawing some guidelines to train and encourage members to serve in the worship
ministry as musicians and singers. Some of the new members(also new
christians) have also shown keenness to serve. So as to safeguard the
sanctity of this ministry and yet not to discourage new christians to
serve the Lord, I would like to get some feedback from you as how to
absorb them in the ministry. Our church's worship services are of the
charismatic nature and we are open to old and new (contemporary) worship music.
Thank You and hoping to hear from you.
In His service,
Mariana. |

Dear Sir,
You really are an anointed songwriter. I love "Approved in Every Way" and "Every time I Pray". I've sung them before in my church in KL but never knew they were written by a Malaysian. I'm in Melbourne now and heard it at church. I wanted to find the lyrics to the song and only then did I find out that you had written it. This is so amazing ! God really is great and I'm so glad because before this, I didn't know Malaysia had a gospel industry... I'd like to find out more about it.
God really has blessed you. I know that lives are definitely touched with your songs. I heard there are Mandarin versions of "Every time I pray". Do you know where I can find it ? I am really impressed. I really want to find out more about now about Malaysian gospel singers.
Thanks a lot. God bless.

Hi Mr Ng,
I wonder if you still remember me, i'm ruth from tungling Aug batch last year.
I thought of sending you the song i wrote that day. I did just a few refinements. sort of found a tune to the chorus. will try to write it to chords for you.
Alternatively, if you have time and if you like, you can add tune to this piece.
I've also written another very short song on palm of your hands. it has a very chinese tune. i will send you the document with the chords later.
Also, i have decided to join SOFM to do mission work in China for a year. Please pray for me if you can.
Thanks and God bless,

Hi Pastor Wah Lok,
So glad to hear from you. Yes I remember that you written music for Barbara's lyrics. A little bit about myself. Used to study Mass communication in KDU but quit about 2 months ago because I'll be going to Hillsong college to study Ministry in Tv & Media. Serving as the youth leader in KLBC and also a musician. Most of the music that I like to listen are slow, relaxing and soothing. Almost most of the worship songs I like. Not really into song writing but just had some inspiration these few days to write something. And I only had written 2. But the most recent one I wrote I really hope to put it in to music. I have a title for it. It's called First love while the other one, well, don't really have a name for it yet. I know there's a need of some editing here and there. But I think it's a good start for me since I don't really write songs very often. |

Hi, this is a great website. Thank you for your efforts and dedication in making Tabernacle Music known to more and more people especially Malaysian Christians. True enough that church music does play a major role in our spiritual lives as it, when inspired by the holy spirit, will surely bring a greater impact in our prayer life as music can bring people closer to God. I'm involved in the Music Ministry in my parish and i'm very keen to learn more about music and worship. I'm also very much interested in joining the Tabernacle choir as it would give me more experience with God through singing and improve my singing skills. I believe there are always rooms for those who really want to dedicate their lives to God through music. Talents are not meant to be wasted, they are meant to be used for His glory! God bless...
P.S. Any plans to come to Sabah to share your invaluable experience in music and worship? You are very much welcome! |

My dear brother and brother in Christ,
I thank God for your openess and unselfishness in sharing this website with other fellow musicians and song writers. Some of your links and promotions are in direct competition with your "business" but you have looked beyond it. It is great to see Christians working together for one great cause, to see our Lord and Saviour, Jesus glorified.
After living in New Zealand for more than 16 years and having adjusted to westerners sing, listening to a Malaysian album with the Malaysian accent was difficult at first. We have removed this mental block and the "Shining Stars" album is played in our house 2-3 days a week.
congratulated you for turning away from your secular work to enter into a full time ministry in the work for Jesus. Coming from a family of non Christians do make choices a bit more difficult and I am glad that you took this brave step, not only to full time ministry, but was the first in the household to receive Jesus as your personal Saviour. You have certainly made it easier for us in future decisions, not having to worry too much of what our parents will say or react.
Let us continue to give God the glory, thanking him for his saving grace.

Hi Mr. Wah Lok,
I recently bought a copy of your album here in Penang (I think my mum got it
from Salvation). What I am about to highlight may or may not be true here, but I think that a
lot of folks in the U.S get their recordings done at much lower prices since
they do it at home. Pros which fall into this category include Lee
Ritenour, Oscar Peterson,George Benson and etc. I'm a software engineer by trade but I've worked with sound for a number of
years and also I currently record at home (for fun). I just play some simple
guitar pieces for worship. Anyway, I just wanted to ask you this:-
:- Did it really take RM30,000 to produce your album?
:- Will you be available for critique if I should need a second opinion
regarding the quality of the recordings I'm currently doing? I know you're a
very busy man. Could you point me to the right person I could ask for acoustic guitar
recordings and technical questions? I currently have a semi-pro studio at
home and I plan to increase my condeser mic arsenal soon.
Best Rgrds and God Bless,

Enjoyed your excellent article. My question: Is the groaning of creation and man expressed in the minor key in Romans 8:19-23? It seems that sin has affected all of creation, along with man, to be out of harmony with God's will and would therefore be groaning in the minor key. There is certainly nothing to be joyful about in man's fall from grace. Your evaluation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

Dear Sirs,
I am inquiring as to the availability of Shining Stars and Every Time I Pray for purchase. I am interested in purchasing these two CD's, but notice on your web site that you can only process orders for Malaysia and Singapore. Are these two CD's available through a United States distributor yet?
Sister Edrye from Christians in Crisis has loaned me the two CD's for my review as possible resources for use in our House of Prayer prayer meetings--as we pray for members of our worldwide Christian family who are enduring sore trials for their faith.
I have downloaded "Every Time I Pray", to share with our prayer group at our next meeting, but would appreciate obtaining the two CD's for further inspiration for the group, which meets monthly.
Thank you for your anticipated response,
Paul Mattson

Dear Pastor Lok,
Grace and peace be multiplied to you, family, congregation and country.
Greetings from the United States of America. Your website is so wonderful, I learned much about music and it really
ministered to me as a musician. As I proclaim Jesus Christ in our country, the way your website was reached
happened while I was researching the role of the Levites as musicians within
the Bible, in order to enhance my musicianship. I write and sing with our group called "Living Example" and have been
researching the different sounds of Christians worshipping around the world!
Our group is contemporary reggae gospel, the lead singer is from Guyana,
South America! God's love is universal and I desire that the music that our group continues
to write will reach all cultures through evoking the presence of God as well
as encourage others musicians to do the same. The bible teaches us how to write songs to minister the will of God in our
lives and also to bless God. Around the world, music needs to come back to
this while creating new songs. I would love to hear the music from your country, and to receive some
international comments about our music as well. Please write, as I will look forward to a response from you.
Gods Blessings,
Christina |

Hello brother Wah Lok & sister Bessie,
Just wanted you to know that I am a member of Community Baptist Church (SS2) and the first time I was introduced to the song "Every Time I Pray" sometime last year if I recall correctly, I was very much impacted and inspired by the lyrics, so much so that we have been regularly singing this song in our cell group meetings. I believe God wants His children to continue to pray and intercede and what better way to describe the lyrics of this wonderful song. May God continue to use you as His vessel and be a blessing to others.

Germany
Hello Mr. Wah Lok
Many greetings from Germany to you and your church!!! God bless you!!!
My name is matthias, I am 25 Years old, I am leader of our worship-team in an evangelical lutheran church in a little town in the east of germany.
I have an uncle, who lives with his family in Malaysia (in Johor Bahru) since 3 years and I want to visit them in the two weeks after the easter celebrations. (23.4. to 1.5.)
I don't wanna only visit them, I will have also a spiritual experience when I am there. I want to see what god is doing in this Country. I don't know what`s possible, if there are any missionary actions or organisations, where I can be a part of, or an event, where I can meet people, if there is a praise or worship event in a church, or a normal sunday service, but there are a lot of churches...
So I was looking at the www about the "musician scene" and the revival movements in Malaysia/Kuala Lumpur. So I have found your website. And I want to ask you, whats happening in your church in these days (23.4. to 1.5.), maybe I can visit your church, if my dream of this big journey comes true
I feel and imagine out of your words on your website that you have a dream of musicians, which are inspired of the holy spirit and write songs out of there heart. This is also a dream of myself, to sing new songs, the holy spirit gives us, like the bible says (corinthians), and to bring them into the services. Here in Germany we have a very traditional church, and the songs we sing are 300 and more years old. These texts are not bad, (people have written this songs from god, and god had touched them in there life - it's great!) - but today nobody would talk in that way with somebody else. You know what I mean? In the last years a revival starts in our churches, Jesus is moving in our land and is touching people in there hearts, and a new generation starts to live. And our churches start to wake up. New structures, a new spiritual deepness, open hearts... But it's sometimes hard, to go new ways, 'cause the old ways are so good'. No, I mean, the older people live their faith in that way, and it's all right, but we life in our time, and we want to live our faith in our way, with a music and with words we understand. And the people around us, our friends at school or work, can come in our services and understand us. That's my dream. That we can bring the good news to our generation. And music is a big part of it.
This is a little picture of the situation we have here in Germany, many new churches grow up, and a lot of spiritual things happening in our sleeping churches, so they wake up. And people, young people are touched by the holy spirit. I want to see more of it!!! This is my prayer, that the church in Europe wakes up. Maybe you want to pray for Germany, ... Thanks
I can imagine you are very busy, maybe you have a few minutes time to answer,
thanks, be blessed, your church will be blessed to your work,
bye, be blessed,
Matthias Richter |

I would like to learn to play the songs but could not download because it is in winzip format and our winzip is not yet registered. Although I am not involved in the worship ministry, I appreciate the beauty and recognise the importance of worship. God has blessed me with good lungs for singing. Your songs are indeed meaningful and do minister in their own way. May our good Lord continue to enrich your ministry and extend your boundaries.

Thank you for your ministry. We sung the song Everytime I pray, but I don't
know who writes the song, then my wife and me heard you during the Bless the
City concert in Melaka during the Christmas. The Lord once again drop the
song in my spirit. At the beginning of this new year, our church started 10
days Praying and fasting. I was scheduled to start off the worship for the
10 days fast, I felt I need to have the chords for the song everytime I
pray, but I cannot find someone who can help me. However I remember over
the Christmas, I brought an Asian Beacon which contains one article of yours
and it mentioned your website. And I remember my friend mentioned that he
is going to download some songs from your website. So my wife and me tried
the very first time to download Everytime I pray. It is indeed a blessing.
Our cell group had been singing this song for the praying and fasting then.
The song has tremendously blessed me and my family. It reminded us once
again the importance of prayer. Thank you.
In Him we serve.

webpage? It said I could use it for personal use.

Hello, dear Wah Lok,
Thanks for having the website - it is very enlightening. I would be sharing it with some of our friends in China. My husband and I
are involved in the ministry with the students from China who are studying
in Malaysia. Many of them love to sing. Do you have any of those songs in
Chinese that can be downloaded ? Some of our students have gone back to
China and they are also sharing the Gospel with their families. We are
hoping to get them some Christian websites that will provide some spiritual
'food' and songs for their growth in China.
One suggestion - could you please allow multiple e-mail addresses to be
included in the 'Friend's e-mail' field when I want to share the site with
a list of people in one sending. Thanks.
Were you from Bukit Bintang Boys Sec. School before ? If you are, I would
like to contact your brother, Wah Fook . I am one of his classmates in
Form 6 - Moh Boey. I hope he will remember. It has been many many years
since we left form 6 in 1977.
Thanks.
God bless.

I came across your website searching for the website of David Suan & The Tabernacle of David. I want to know how to get music from your country. Worship music. I am a psalmist; have written some prophetic worship choruses, but have not recorded them. I want to know how to get started. how to pray for resources to record these songs which I know will be a blessing to the body of Christ.
I pray on Saturdays with a group from different nations. One of the leaders lived and ministered in Malaysia. Her name is Christine Holmes. She told us about The Tabernable of David. I believe God led me to your web site. Please help me to find this web site, and to obtain tabernacle music from your country.
I live in Washington State USA. Please pray for me that I will receive an anointing from God to minister prophetically in worship before the throne of God that will create an open heaven so the people can receive from God. I want Jesus to be pleased with my worship. Please send any articles and teaching material you feel will be helpful to me. thank you. |
