Welcome to my devotional page. I have written these devotions specially for those involved in the worship ministry. As you read them daily, I hope you will walk closer with God. Try to do one devotion per day and not all at one go. I pray my devotional thoughts will help you dedicate your music to God.

Day 6 - IS YOUR WORSHIP A DAILY EXPERIENCE ?
Scripture Reading: Exo 30:7-10
Ex 30:7-10
7Aaron shall burn on it sweet incense every morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it. 8And when Aaron lights the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense on it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations. 9You shall not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering; nor shall you pour a drink offering on it. 10And Aaron shall make atonement upon its horns once a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonement; once a year he shall make atonement upon it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD."
Discussion
The incense here speaks of prayer and worship. Worship must be a daily experience. You cannot live your life six days away from God's presence and suddenly appear on a Sunday Service and expect your worship to take off. Aaron burned sweet incense and tends the lamps every morning. (V7). Are you ministering to God and worshipping Him daily on your instruments of music? Are you carefully crafting your music daily?
He also made certain that no strange incense was offered. This is an important lesson. The world is full of questionable music with sensual lyrics and images. Are you staying clear from all these questionable music? Pure and polluted water certainly cannot come from one source.
Prayer
Father, help me to come to you daily in worship. I pray that my worship will always be pure and undefiled. Keep me away from music that will draw me away from Your presence.
